As Robert Montgomery and one of his clients stood admiring the exterior of the new custom home that Montgomery had just completed for him, the owner turned to Montgomery and said, "What I appreciate most about working with a builder like you is that you love our house as much as we do."

Building and owning a custom home is a very special endeavor and one that only a few will have the opportunity to experience.  Robert Montgomery's philosophy is that those who choose to have a custom home deserve to  enjoy the construction process.  It can and should be an exciting and fulfilling experience. And, if the builder does his job as it should be done, everyone involved . . . the homeowners, the subcontractors, the materialmen, and the builder . . . will take pride in the results.

Robert Montgomery, president of Robert Montgomery Homes, Inc., is a 1974 graduate of  Kansas University School of Architecture.  His highly specialized training affords him a uniquely thorough understanding of each step of the construction process as it relates to the total design.  As Montgomery states:  "When you are building a custom home one piece at a time, it is extremely helpful to be able to visualize the translation from a set of blueprints to the actual building of the structure . . . board by board and nail by nail."

Designing and building custom homes since 1977, Robert Montgomery's work has been characterized by close personal supervision, scrupulous attention to detail and an unbending commitment to quality.  All of the subcontractors and materialmen, who are part of the Robert Montgomery Homes team, are experienced craftsmen.  They notably take pride in their work and approach each new custom home with the cooperative concern that their contribution to the
finished product will meet all expectations.  Robert Montgomery's personal supervision of the construction process, and his close working relationship with his subcontractors and materialmen insure a concerned and meticulous approach to the construction of each custom home.
